We had such a beautiful stay at Podere San Giuseppe. The place is peaceful, quiet and full of such a lovely energy — you really feel relaxed from the moment you arrive. What made it even more special were the hosts. They were so kind, thoughtful and genuinely caring, and you can really feel how much attention they put into making their guests feel comfortable and welcome. They also helped us organize biking by the lake and horse riding, even though these activities are not directly provided by the property. They arranged everything for us so kindly, and both experiences were absolutely lovely. It was one of those stays that feels simple, warm and special because of the people behind it. We left with such a good feeling and would be very happy to come back.

Kyle: Glass half empty. Lot of potential just aesthetically lacking, leaves you wanting more unfortunately. Talitha: There were some positives, the interior of the room and bathroom is exceptional- really top notch and was very clean. We also liked it when we asked for an iron and they made the effort to source an iron and an ironing board for us. I also thought the pool was nice and clean. The view at breakfast was also really nice. Some of the negatives: exterior very lacking in maintenance, weeds overgrowing, taking over hedges and the garden. I can see on previous photographs it looks like the property's exterior was well maintained but overtime it seems like it has been very much neglected and care and attention has not been applied to gardening which is such a shame because it has a lot of potential. I also felt that breakfast was quite lacking. First breakfast was alright and second not. Second being some ham, pieces of cheese, bread, 3 x cold boiled eggs cut in half and a fruit salad cut up and some yoghurt pots. This is inadequate for the price point in my view. I thought this accomodation was quite pricey being 320 aud per night but I would value it at about 150-200 per night or less
