  Nice house, nice location - a couple of simple changes by the hosts could make this a five star stay

  I was traveling internationally and had difficulty with getting my cell phone switched over to the international service plan when I arrived. I wanted the lock box code upon arrival when I was able to access wi-fi but the hosts make you pay early for early check-in (which I couldn't have used) and therefore refused to give me the lockbox code via text until immediately before check-in time. As I said, this was a stressor and difficult for me because I was having an issue with my cell service. I think they need to find another way to handle their greedy need to collect a few more dollars for early check-in!

  There was a bit of a heat wave the week we visited and more fans would have been nice since there is no AC. When I texted to ask where the fans were stored instead of providing the helpful information the response was that fans aren't included (even though I did find a couple stashed in closets). More clean towels. There's no clothes dryer (only a washer) so having a second set of clean bath towels would have been really nice! The twin beds were quite bouncy - time for new mattresses.

  Location was ideal. Near centre and beach. Free parking was an absolute godsend as parking is costly. Well appointed property with great decor clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds and everything in the way of utensils available needed for a family holiday in the kitchen.

  Spacious apartment

  Well furnished and decorated. Kitchen well equipped. Comfortable beds. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided in shower. Off road parking. On a main bus route.

  Only 1 hand towel for 4 people for 4 nights (1 small bath towel each provided). Only 1 tea towel for 4 nights. No cleaning products in kitchen, although washing up liquid and sponge scourer provided. Welcome Pack very meagre, like tea tray accessory you get in a hotel room, no milk though. 2 pans in kitchen cupboard still had oil in them. Too many rules and regulations by management company, with a hefty holding deposit in case of damage caused (returned very quickly after our stay). Email explaining our negatives sent directly to My Getaways, but disappointing response.

  Overall very good.

  Thought the apartment was great. Bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Living room was good and enough space at table to sit us all.

  Unfortunately the freezer was very frosted up - 2 drawers couldn’t be opened at all. As we were out all day taking picnic lunches and snacks and cold drinks we wanted to be able to keep all our ice packs frozen. This proved a challenge. Fridge was also a bit of an issue as the door didn’t seal shut properly so food wasn’t kept as cold as it should be. This was an installation issue and we sent photos and an explanation. This really does need sorting out.
