It was a great experience - meeting the hosts, and encountering Kangaroos and emus on the street
The cottage was really well kitted out - lots of ambience and beautiful innterior too. Great super-king bed, shower and washing facilities. While there was no dryer a clothes horse met our needs. The cottage is also surrounded by a private garden and birdsong and bird watching outside the kitchen is a great way to start the day. The kitchen was well stocked with extra treats provided by the hosts.

Location, cleanliness, collections/styling, lovely linen, nice food treats and continental breakfast. Polly's Retreat is a lovely, comfortable space. We enjoyed our night there Warm...Welcoming...Wayne was the host who gave fantastic travel tips. Thank you Wayne, greatly appreciated.👍
Being woken by animals running across tin roof but to be expected in a quiet, country location. Wardrobe/hanging space is limited

Fabulous stay - amazingly comfortable huge bed!
Huge, extremely comfortable super king size bed! Could lie there all day! Everything that we needed for a wonderful couple of nights. Continental breakfast supplied as well as a little basket of goodies. Washing machine and clothes horse which is always useful. Lovely eclectic decor style. Hosts Wayne and Ange were charming. Would definately stay again.
Neighbours chooks on the roof at 6.45am, but can't do much about that.

Home away from home, with all the added extras. The bed was amazing, with quality linen and pillows.
We were welcomed by one of the owners Wayne, he was very friendly, informative and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was outstanding, we loved their taste, old with the new. The bed was excellent, best night sleep ever. This place looked brand new, we would live there full time x. Kitchen and bathroom well stocked with quality products. Home away from home.

Our hosts Wayne and Ange were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was superb and the treats left for us were lovely. We felt very spoilt and also very relaxed. We have been travelling around Australia for the last 3 months and have stayed in at least 80 properties in that time. Without a shadow of doubt Polly's Retreat was by far the best property we have stayed in. I highly recommend a stay here and we are certainly going back and staying for a few days next time.
