    A characterful and welcoming heritage hotel offering excellent value and genuine hospitality.

    The hotel has considerable heritage character, a remarkably spacious room for the price and pleasant, enthusiastic staff who genuinely tried to help. I particularly appreciated the peaceful terrace, the warm restaurant welcome, the trust shown when charges were placed on my room without unnecessary formality, and the invitation to visit the owners’ polo pony stud farm.

    Breakfast was well below the standard the property should provide, with inexpensive sliced bread, jam sachets, poor-quality orange drink and limited presentation. The flooded entrance, late housekeeping, absence of a dressing gown, USB sockets and printed hotel information, together with inconsistent food and no evening turn-down service, also require attention.

    Trop court séjour dans cet hôtel très agréable,

    Le côté "heritage" de l'hôtel, l'atmosphère très surannée lieux, le jardin...

    Quelques équipements vieillissants qui pourraient être remis au goût du jour malgré leur charme certain!
