The location was perfect. Very central and good transport links. Close to many of the main attractions of lisbon. There were also supermarkets and lots of shops and eateries close by. The apartment was large, comfortable and extremely well equipped with everything you might need for a self-catering break. There was even a washing machine. The air conditioning was very welcome given temperatures were 30 +! The host was super helpful. He gave us lots of tips for things to do in the area and for day trips to Sintra etc. Communication was good and our queries were answered quickly.
The stairs!! As with many Lisbon apartments in the historic centre, there are no lifts. The apartment is on the 5th floor - so quite a trek up at the end of a busy day. That said, we are in our late 70s early 80s and we managed.fine. We told ourselves that it was good exercise for the heart!

Stay here! Superb location, very clean and quiet, great host.
We loved our stay in this apartment. Not only was the location superb (could not have asked for better), and so quiet you could hear a pin drop, but it was also super clean, well equipped, and had the added bonus of an excellent, accessible and accommodating host. Yes, the apartment is on the fifth floor (no elevator), but the stairs aren’t really a bother…I did it and I had a cane!
There was nothing we did not like.
