    A very friendly welcome. Many species of wildlife were seen without even leaving the lodge. Everything was clean and neat. Quiet and restful.

    Absolutely tranquil view. Stay as long as possible

    The view is absolutely gorgeous. We woke up to a giraffe eating a few meters away from us. What a treat. I could sit on that lovely porch with that view for days. The lodge was very spacious and clean. The host was friendly and professional. This was an amazing experience and we are already making plans to visit again.

    This is not a negative at all, just a announcement, this is a farm so you do have to drive on a gravel road to get to your destination so using a higher car like a SUV or a bakkie is just easier if you have the option

    Pomeroy is home away from home, well organized ( there was provision for breakfast, I believe this is so considerate of

    Peaceful Hideaway near Port Alfred

    Loved the personal touch provided by Judith, which included thoughtful extras in the chalet. One could quite easily sit on the terrace and not move a muscle - quiet, great views, amenities at your fingertips. Wish we could have stayed longer. Wildlife is abundant and easy to reach on the farm roads. They even provided a rescue service when we were stuck in soft sand (our fault)!
