    Great sleep and facilities at Powdermills!

    Clean, great breakfast with friendly hosts, nice big room, and bathroom, got a great sleep!

    Limited dinner options nearby, got take out at local takeaway which was only fair quality.

    Welcoming host in designer house.

    Welcomed at the door by personalized welcome board and greeted by friendly owners who offered hot drinks on arrival. Big modern style room with large bed and traditional items. Well lit with plenty of plugs. All on one floor with our own patio doors. Cooked items for breakfast chosen the night before, good choices for breakfast eaten in large open plan room. They had advised the need to book evening meals in the town and suggested the best places to eat. 10 acres of ground accessible from the house and free to walk around, includes the remains of the old powder mill. Visiting the Ancient historic township of Auchindrain nearby is recommended.

    Would have preferred tea/coffee in the bedroom rather than a shared facility
