A great location, friendly staff, but very simple rooms and uncomfortable bed.
It was extremely central to all the necessary locations when visiting Barcelona for the first time. The hotel’s common areas were very clean and well decorated. The free water refill was extremely accommodating and wonderful. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Very very simple rooms for an expensive stay. The toilet and sink were very close together, but not too much of an issue. The bed was basically rock hard, it felt extremely uncomfortable, again something that was really frustrating for the price per night, especially when the whole point of a hotel is night rest. Because of the discomfort of the bed, we woke up in the middle of the night several times. The rooms could’ve been decorated a little more or a chair in the corner to make it feel more comfortable and less bare bones.
