Chaos
The room keys kept locking out and the staff at reception couldn’t speak English. I was out all day and came back to a room that had not been cleaned despite the member of staff on reception ‘writing a note’ that I wanted my room to be made up. I stay at Premier Inns because I know what the standard will be and this is one is ruining the brand.

Premier Inn Romford Town Centre
Convenient town centre location, off site discounted parking with generous width parking bays, although carpark lifts were out of order throughout 5 day stay. Premier inn itself was easily accessible, with friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Modern decor but ready for a touch up in some areas. It wasn't busy during my stay. I opted for the premier plus room which wasn't much more expensive and worth it in my opinion for the better shower pressure and bottled water. Restaurant menu seemed limited but food was decent enough, just don't expect gastro pub quality. The restaurant staff were really friendly, attentive and helpful throughout my stay. I would stay here again if I needed to come back to Romford for work, although wouldn't rush to come back to Romford for anything other than that!
