Couldn't stay here because it somehow got double booked.

Once host discovered the apartment was double booked he quickly communicated with Booking.com but I ended up having to contact them myself to find another apartment to stay in.

We booked this apartment in advance and paid. Our party of 8 arrived to Madrid via train only to discover that another family was already in the apartment. Apparently it was double-booked. We do not know if this was a host error or a Booking.com error but we did not get to stay here.
