Ein Ort, an dem man sehr schnell vergisst, dass man eigentlich nur zu Gast ist.
Es gibt Unterkünfte, die man bucht, und solche, bei denen man sich hinterher fragt, warum man eigentlich wieder abgereist ist. Die Terrasse allein wäre schon Grund genug, sämtliche Tagespläne einer kritischen Neubewertung zu unterziehen. Ein wunderbarer Ort, um nichts zu müssen und genau das ausgiebig zu tun. Was den Aufenthalt aber wirklich besonders macht, ist Marko. Ein Gastgeber, bei dem Gastfreundschaft keine einstudierte Dienstleistung ist, sondern offenbar eine ziemlich selbstverständliche Lebenseinstellung. Herzlich, aufmerksam, offen und mit einem ehrlichen Interesse daran, dass man eine richtig gute Zeit hat. Seine Tipps für die Umgebung waren Gold wert. Nebenbei betreibt er eine kleine Weinkellerei, in der auf erstaunlich wenig Raum erstaunlich guter Wein entsteht. Auch unser gemeinsamer Ausflug auf den Skadar-See zum Sonnenaufgang war ein Highlight. Nicht zuletzt wegen Markos bemerkenswerten Art, ganz nebenbei von Land, Leuten und Geschichte zu erzählen. Ohne touristische Folklore, ohne großes Aufheben, dafür mit umso mehr Persönlichkeit. Essen waren wie im kleinen Fischrestaurant seiner Mutter, in dem wir gleich zweimal waren. Eine überschaubare Auswahl an Gerichten, dafür jedes einzelne hervorragend zubereitet und auf einer gemeinsamen Platten serviert, wie man es sich bei einem richtig guten Familienessen wünscht. Beim zweiten Besuch hatten wir bereits das angenehme Gefühl, nicht mehr ganz fremd zu sein. Kurzum: Man kommt wegen des Skadar-Sees, bleibt gedanklich auf der Terrasse hängen und fährt mit dem Gefühl nach Hause, bei Freunden gewesen zu sein. Ich hoffe, wir finden bald die Zeit, wiederzukommen. Es war wirklich schön!
