    Comfortable in ideal location with excellent hosts.

    We had a very enjoyable comfortable stay in the quiet Garden Lodge. The hosts are exceptionally warm, friendly and accommodating. Who also recommended some local super eating establishments to us! We had a tour of their garden & large interesting historic mansion with its other well appointed beautifully decorated large suites & penthouse. There are many interesting places to visit within easy driving distance: Avebury, Avebury Manor, Stonehenge, Heale Garden; STEAM Railway Museum, Swindon to name but a few. Nearby Caen Hill Locks, historic sites & Westbury White Horse & others with beautiful scenery along the way. There is a bus stop very close by on the Devizes to Trowbridge route.

    The owner was very friendly and interested in helping us enjoy our time. The building is amazing with interesting history. The location was perfect for us to explore the surrounding villages, and clise to Devizes too. The breakfast was lovely. It was nice to stay somewhere different to most hotel rooms!

    A selection of fruit juices would have been nice as my wife can't drink orange, but that does feel overly picky!
