  Nous sommes tombés dans une chambre où notre jaccuzi privatif était visible de l'extèrieur. La chambre paraissait plus grande sur le descriptif ainsi que la piscine.

  Lovely staff and good food, but disappointing room conditions and facilities

  The staff were absolutely wonderful, genuinely friendly and always willing to help. The food was good, tasty and fresh, and we appreciated the quality of the meals. Our room was spacious, which was certainly a positive aspect of our stay.

  We chose this hotel largely based on its high Booking.com rating of 8.5 and its four-star classification. Unfortunately, our experience did not quite live up to those expectations. One of the first things we noticed was a persistent musty, mould-like smell throughout the hotel, seemingly masked by a very strong citrus fragrance. As someone with asthma who is particularly sensitive to smells, I found this especially noticeable and uncomfortable. Our first impression of the room was also rather disappointing. One of the decorative wall panels in the bedroom was coming away from the wall and the adjacent panel, leaving a gap of approximately 1 cm. The bathrobes had orange stains, so we decided not to use them throughout our stay. The bedsheet had holes in it, and one of the light fittings appeared to have burn marks. The mattress was exceptionally firm, even by our standards, and we normally prefer firm mattresses. We were initially delighted to discover that the room had a jacuzzi. Unfortunately, when my wife and I used it, we both developed an unpleasant skin reaction, with red, itchy patches appearing on our bodies. Naturally, this was quite concerning and meant that we could no longer enjoy this facility. During our stay, we witnessed the jacuzzi water being changed once, although we cannot say whether it was changed on other occasions. Overall, while we genuinely appreciated the efforts of the staff and enjoyed the food, the maintenance, cleanliness and general condition of the facilities fell short of what we would expect from a four-star hotel with such a high rating.
