  A filthy, broken and deeply disappointing stay that fell far short of luxury.

  the worst accommodation we have ever stayed in. We paid just under €500 for one night expecting a luxury villa and a special treat for our children. Instead, we spent our stay dealing with dirt, broken facilities, arguments over basic amenities and complete frustration. We were relieved to leave. Check-in was awful. Fatima spoke only French and refused or was unable to use Google Translate, so I had to translate everything myself. One sided communication did not make for a smooth check-in. We had pre-booked dinner, yet no shopping had been done for the meal, meaning nothing was prepared despite our arrival time. With six exhausted children, we cancelled dinner because it would have been far too late. Other than handing us the keys, nothing was explained. We were given no instructions for the air conditioning, TV, cooker, pool lights or anything else. Throughout our stay, communication was almost non-existent. Messages on Booking.com and WhatsApp were ignored unless we phoned. The kitchen was disgusting. Every plate, glass, pan and utensil had to be washed before we could use them. Plates were glued together with thick dark brown sticky residue, glasses still contained dried juice, the sieve was covered in slimy residue, broken plastic utensils I showed Fatima instead of being replaced she put back in the drawer, the kettle didn’t work and the “replacement” was an old rusty kettle that Fatima admitted was also unusable. Every concern was dismissed with a shrug and “I just work here.” When I tried to cook a simple 10-minute pasta meal for my children, there was no gas. Fatima admitted it had never been checked after the previous guests. She then insisted we had to pay an extra €25 simply to use and cook in the kitchen ourselves. This was completely false. The owner later confirmed kitchen use was included in our booking. Instead of enjoying our evening, we spent almost two hours waiting for someone to make the kitchen usable.

  We had a lovely stay at this beautiful villa in Marrakech. The property is stunning, peaceful, and offers a wonderful atmosphere to relax and unwind. A special thank you goes to Fatima, who truly made our stay exceptional. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and was always kind, welcoming, and helpful. She is an amazing host and one of the main reasons we enjoyed our stay so much. There are, however, a couple of areas that could be improved. The Wi-Fi connection was very limited and only worked in a few spots around the villa. My husband needed to work during our stay, which made this quite challenging. In addition, the tap and shower water was extremely salty, leaving our skin feeling very dry and uncomfortable. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this villa, especially because of Fatima’s outstanding hospitality. With better Wi-Fi coverage and improved water quality, the stay would be nearly perfect.
