  We had a fantastic time at the house.

  We had a fantastic stay at Haigha House, unfortunately too short but we will be back for sure.

  I have no idea - we felt so welcome there, everything was beyond our expectations.

  This place is far worse than it looks in its photos

  none I am rarely this furious about a consumer experience. This is the first time I am leaving a negative review for a villa because the experience was simply appalling. I would rather forfeit the remaining days of my stay and leave the place vacant than endure another moment in this dreadful environment. This villa is a complete deception compared to the photos, with numerous hidden factors that I feel obligated to disclose to all potential guests.

  1. This was the first issue I raised with the host on the day of check-in. We checked in with elderly individuals and children, and the house features a long staircase connecting three floors with no barriers in between. This presents a serious safety hazard as the elderly and children are highly susceptible to falling down the staircase from the third floor to the first floor. There are no guardrails, no protective measures whatsoever. We were forced to constantly supervise our children throughout the day to prevent accidents or confine them to their rooms for their safety. 2. The lighting was extremely dim, and we frequently experienced circuit trips. Their lighting fixtures are inadequate; the illumination in the living and dining areas is practically nonexistent, especially after sunset. There is insufficient lighting in both the dining area and the living room, rendering them practically unusable. If you enjoy a dimly lit bar atmosphere, then this place is suitable for you. However, if you need adequate lighting for reading or hosting a party, this place will absolutely not meet your requirements! After sunset, you are confined to your own room, which is extremely disappointing. 3. The front of the house is surrounded by rice fields, and the road leading to the house is extremely narrow, making it very difficult for cars to pass through. Therefore, if you plan on traveling by rental car or using Uber for daily transportation, this place is not suitable for you. There are hardly any drivers willing to complete the task of picking you up or dropping you off directly at the house. 4. The house is nowhere near as good as it appears in the photos. In reality, the equipment inside is very old, and there is a bunch of lizard-like geckos roaming around the rooms every day. If you are fond of geckos, then this place will serve as a great zoo for observation!

  Love it! Will definitely be back!

  Where should I start.. So happy I found this place! The villa was perfect, all clean, fresh and beautiful, with amazing view. When arriving at the property I immediately felt relaxed, after a long flight and drive from the airport. The staffs were incredibly helpful and responsive, it truly made my stay easy. 100% giving love to the host for their amazing communication and care. And please, the surroundings.. just gorgeous. If you still browsing around for an accommodation within the price range - stop your hunt right now and book this villa! Thanks, Haigha House team, I really enjoyed my stay!
