Very Disappointed, Inside May Be Great, We'll Never Know

There wasn't much to like, the area looked lackluster, we should have looked at Google maps street view earlier, tons of homes in the area with trash in the yard.

The place wasn't ready, it looked as if a long term tenant was in the process of moving out when we pulled up. We traveled from out of state to CT for a family birthday party same day as check in and thank goodness we decided to check the place out and do a drive by immediately upon arriving in CT prior to the party. A ton of household items and clothing filled the driveway and several vehicles were parked outside the residence. The property manager was apologetic that the place wasn't ready and I was forgiving, but it took us a few hrs to find a new place to stay while we were supposed to be enjoying my nephew's 1 yr old birthday party. We also had to pay extra as it was an emergency last minute request at a new location. We did get a full refund without cancelation fee, but the whole trip started off very disappointing. The property manager did say the inside was clean, but since it obviously wasn't ready to check in, we turned down a chance to take a look inside. Photos are from 1 hour after our 3pm check in time, more hilarious is that we requested early check in which was swiftly denied and we learned why.

Good location and clean, spacious home with easy check-in, but uncomfortable beds and heat/noise issues made it hard

The location was great, close to everything you might need, with Stop & Shop right across the street, which was very convenient. Check-in was very easy and smooth. The keypad system worked well; I was able to simply enter the PIN code provided and access the house without any issues. Parking was also very convenient, as we were able to park directly in the driveway without any problems. The house itself was clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for cooking. There were also plenty of towels provided. All of the rooms were very spacious, including the kitchen, which had a large table and plenty of room to move around comfortably. Each room had a smart TV and ceiling fan, which added to the overall comfort. The house in general smelled fresh and well-maintained. There was also plenty of lighting in the bedrooms, which was great overall. Overall, there were several aspects of the stay that were convenient and enjoyable.

The beds (mattresses) were very uncomfortable, extremely soft to the point of sinking in, which made it difficult to sleep through the night. Even though we stayed in April, the second floor was already very hot. This raises concerns about how uncomfortable it would be during the summer months. The window air conditioners were also very loud and didn’t seem sufficient to properly cool the space, which made it even harder to rest. It would also make a big difference if the bed sheets were cotton rather than polyester. The current sheets felt hot and made sleeping even more uncomfortable. Additionally, the couch in the living room had an unpleasant odor. I understand that with many guests this can happen, but it’s still something that should be addressed. While the price was somewhat lower than average, the lack of comfort especially not being able to sleep properly outweighed that. A lower price doesn’t make up for basic comfort issues like sleep quality. Overall, these issues significantly affected the stay and are worth improving for future guests.
