  Decent place, location, comfortable

  Staff asked to complete a large checklist that was not part of the deal or mentioned on booking.com., even though I spent the time explaining that and don't ask for extra. They couldn't help it of course, very annoying Couple of drawers were quite stuck, lots of ants invading through the house, old house, makes some noise when nothing is happening.

  A very comfortable, older style house, a short drive into Taupo town. Although it was freezing when we arrived, the house warmed up quickly once we got the fire going. Loved our stay there.

  It's an older style house, so needs constant maintenance, however we loved it.

  Travelling as 2 couples, we would’nt recommend

  Location, (but not walking distance to town), good size, parking, helpful host, premier bed room was beautiful. New bathrooms and good toiletries.

  Second double bedroom was poor by comparison to the main one. No air con, plug for wall heater didn’t reach the socket. Only one wall socket, therefore long extension to reach table lamp and to charge phone on the floor. Mis matched curtains. Only one bulb out of 3 working in ceiling lamp. Washing machine needs attention.

  We had a memorable stay. The house was enjoyed bi our group.

  The property was in an excellent location very close to Lake Tahoe and all that’s happening there! We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well equipped. The extra large bathtub is appreciated in the master bath..

  The laundry machine needed maintenance and it was an inconvenience. We found the local laundromat to wash the laundry. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet.
