Gut gelegene Unterkunft mit freundlichen Gastgebern
Sehr freundliche und sympathische Gastgeber und gute Kommunikation. Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen und in einer sicheren Umgebung - die Restaurants und Cafés im Zentrum sind innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen und der Zufahrtsweg ist beleuchtet. Wir haben uns Räder ausgeliehen, mit denen man auch schnell am Strand war und mit welchen nähere Ausflugsziele (zB das Jaguar Rescue Center) gut erreichbar waren. Es gab keine Klimaanlage, aber mit den Ventilatoren war es in der Regenzeit (Oktober) in Ordnung, die Fenster sind alle mit Fliegengittern versehen.
Einige Fenster (insbesondere im Bad) waren leider nicht mit Vorhängen versehen, sodass man sich etwas beobachtet fühlte, obwohl es natürlich noch ein Zaun zur Straße gab. Leider gab es auf Nachfrage keinen Föhn, in der Regenzeit (nicht mehr so heiß) mussten wir daher nach dem Duschen abends relativ lange warten, bis wir essen gehen konnten. Es wäre auch schön gewesen, wenn das Zimmer bei 3 Nächten zumindest einmal gereinigt worden wäre oder zumindest einmal frische Handtücher bereitgestellt worden wären. Ansonsten gut für einen kurzen Aufenthalt.

Great place to recommend.
Nice location in the woods.
In the center of Puerto Viejo, on main street our rental car was blocked by several Thugs, opened an unlocked door and tried to get the driver out. Very dangerous and frightening!
