Disappointment beyond description
The view was pretty good.
Let me clarify up front. I've been using Booking.com for more than 10 years and have travelled quite extensively. In all this time, I have made very few reviews, but this time, I feel strongly about this experience. After spending 1 week in Toulouse and more than 3 weeks on Sicily visiting Catania, Cefalu, Palermo, Syricusa, and obviously Taormina, which has attracted these comments. All accommodations booked were all in the same price bracket so one can expect similar experiences. This accommodation does not come close to any of the other in which we stayed. Firstly, the shower. It was unclean and really very small 60cms x 60cms with an opening into the shower of no more than 40 cms. Secondly, all kitchen utensils are extremely old and worn. Third, the towels and linen need some serious replacement. The electricity supply can not operate the small geyser and the lights/plugs at the same time without tripping. Taormina is beautiful, but sleeping on the beach might have been a better bet. Sorry, but what's real is real.

Good walking distance from central Taormina, cable car to beaches and supermarkets
Balcony, fantastic time with coffee and book ever morning
Stairs to property are demanding 😥 However in Taormina You have to be prepared to find hills and stairs in all area… it is not easy town to visit by old people or people with poor physical condition for sure think twice! … Happy I chosen this destination in age of 40 😅😁👌
