It is a 10-15 minute walk from the Osaki station, which comfortably connects you to all major attractions to Tokyo in a reasonable time. The neighbourhood was very calm and quiet despite being close to the train and shinkansen tracks (surprisingly, the train was the noisier of the two!). The house is nicely furbished, seems to be newly renovated, and spacious, too. Given the price and location, I would book it again.
The main living quarters are located on the first and second floors connected by narrow stairways. The house is accessed from the ground floor. It was a bit difficult to get all the way up with luggage, and I imagine people with limited mobility would struggle here a lot. The kitchen could’ve had more cooking equipment. The beds were very narrow compared to a lot of other accommodation we’ve been to in Japan and one of the beds in the bedroom facing the street was extremely creaky, to the point where it would wake us up on every turn. We had to contact the support center once due to a power outage and the communication was a bit difficult - there was a tablet on the ground floor but there was no instructions on how to use it and it wasn’t connected to internet due to the outage, so I ended up having to call the center from my european phone number, which ended up being pretty costly. The property management team then sent me a manual for how to deal with the situation, maybe it would be useful if this manual was available at the property for emergencies like these. I know i could’ve contacted them through the booking chat and not waste money, but I didn’t want to wait for a reply as we just returned from a long, full day trip and it was already dark outside.

Maison entières avec deux chambres de taille correcte. La maison était propre, le quartier calme. Machine à laver le linge avec explications en plusieurs langues dans un doc partagé. Compter 15 min pour rejoindre soit la gare d’Oimachi soit d’Osaki. Espace pour garer nos vélos appréciable!
Rien si ce n’est un grille pain!

Sauber und geräumig, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt
Sauber, zwei Toiletten, großräumig, Klimaanlage, ruhige Lage, nette Nachbarschaft, äußerst höflicher Gastgeber
Steile Treppen ohne Geländer, schwierig mit großem Koffer; hellhörig, man sollte sich ruhig verhalten, um die Nachbarn nicht zu stören, dafür auch generell ruhig und nachts kaum Geräusche
