Great stay in Valens - clean, quiet, well-furnished and very well connected to the hikes in the area
I stayed in this flat with my sister for a week in August and we loved it. It is perfectly furnished with everything you can think of/may need during your stay (everything to cook, clean, do laundry etc.). We were actually very surprised by how well furnished it is for a holiday rental. It is located in a cute mountain valley just a few minutes by car from Bad Ragaz, and it was very quiet and much cooler at night during the heatwave than in the valley, so we were very happy with that. It is adapted for 2 to 4 people - we had plenty of space just the two of us! We felt right at home the whole time and were sad to leave. Also, we wanted to add an extra night last minute at the beginning of our stay and Willem was very kind to make this possible and we really appreciated his flexibility. Communication was great and easy - thank you Willem and the Schouten family! We had a lovely stay and would come back anytime if ever in the area again.
The only thing we did not like were the beds - the mattresses are pretty old and you sink into them, which is not ideal for your back. if you are into hard beds, you'll be frustrated. A change of mattress would be good to consider to make this flat a 10/10, as sleep is also very important when hiking the whole day for many days in a row 😉!

Nádherný výhled z obou stran bytu, velká terasa a navíc dva balkony. Prostorný apartmán vybaven vším potřebným. Majitel zodpověděl všechny naše dotazy.
