No security gate, I got instructions to open lock box for keys but they were all useless as the door had a code to unlock it which I didn’t get until after we had arrived. I am not sure why a spa is advertised because it would not have been used for ages and the pillows were big and hard

Home away from home.
Comfortable and cosy, thoughtfully decorated and furnished with everything a home should have. Jogging path just opposite all the way to the Gap. Hot shower and great to have a dishwasher and washer-dryer. No problem with parking and easy self check-in. Very close to the Convention Centre and safe to walk around. Quiet neighbourhood and I had a good rest every night. Hosts were easy to communicate with. This will always be my choice if I come back to Alice Springs.
I couldn't figure out how to fill up and use the hot tub, but I decided to give it a pass since I found other things to do, like enjoy the outdoor parks and walks. Maybe a good idea to leave some instructions for guests. I didn't feel like bothering the hosts. Previous guests had damaged one corner of the TV screen, not obvious unless you switch it on so the hosts wouldn't have known. They were very responsive when I reported it, hope that gets sorted for future guests. No complaints, it was a very good stay.

Overpriced
Proximity to the Todd River, close to shops and restaurants.
Many things need maintenance. Although advertised, there is no view of the Todd River from the bedroom. Parking available for cars only. The security gate to the carpark is currently broken. Although "close to shops", you can't walk there after dark. This is just a flat amongst a swag of other identical apartments. Despite booking through booking.com, check in was hampered by additional security checks and a $300 bond. Check-in information was sent partly via SMS and the rest by email, making it jolly confusing.
