What a shame. It could be so much better.

The hotel was as expected, clean and comfortable. Parking was easy with plenty of spaces available. The drinks were reasonably priced and the entertainment was ok. We must give a big hand to the compare who worked really hard to make our evenings enjoyable.

Where do I start. My wife and I booked a 2 night stay, however on the 2nd day we couldn't get into our room because the receptionist had only booked us in for 1 night. The first morning we went for Breakfast was an absolute disaster. We waited for ages to be seated only to be told we had not been allocated a table . We then had a further wait until they sorted us another table. The breakfast itself wasn't brilliant and certainly not worth the wait. The team at reception apologised and allocated us a table for the following day. We went down to breakfast the following morning only to find out our table had been allocated to someone else, apparently because we weren't there at 8am, which is ridiculous when our slot was between 8am and 9am. No one appeared to know what to do, so once again we had to stand and wait for a table. Eventually we were seated and then forgotten about until someone finally decided to see to us. At this point we gave up and walked out. We spoke to some of the other customers and apparently it wasn't uncommon to have to wait a long time to be served . It's such a shame that the disorganisation in the dining room let's the whole thing down.
