we arrived everything was well explained and the hosts were in contact to make sure our atay was plain sailing

the property has everything you need

its central and in a good location - walking distance to town, harbour or nightlife/resturants would be a great base to explore other local town’s and attractions

    Lovely holiday

The house itself was great , bedrooms good sizes, the kitchen small but had everything you needed loved that they had a separate toilet on the ground floor. Had a amazing bath in main bathroom with a separate big shower water pressure and hot water was fantastic didn't lose anything when multiple were in use . Had plenty of wardrobe space in every room

The living room was on the small size and if all 9 that the house can sleep were to use it definitely wouldn't fit ,the little table could only fit 2 shame didn't have a space saving table for 4 would be better at meal times but wouldn't say it was a problem and still enjoyed the space the only main issue we had was the little fridge freezer was a group of 7 it was definitely on the small size and meant we had to shop more often but if you don't plan to eat in much then wouldn't be an issue

    I would give zero stars.

Formal Complaint – Undisclosed Change of Accommodation Stay: 5–8 August 2026 I am making a formal complaint regarding the above Booking.com reservation and am requesting a full refund. I booked and paid for a specific property through Booking.com. Payment was taken in full on 24 July. On the same date, I received check-in information from the accommodation provider. The check-in information contained a different address from the property I had booked. However, it was not made clear that this represented a change of property. At no point were we explicitly informed that the accommodation we had booked was no longer being provided, nor were we asked whether we agreed to being relocated to an alternative property. As a result, when we arrived on 5 August, we initially went to the address of the property shown on our Booking.com reservation and attempted to access it. It was only at this point that we discovered that we were actually expected to stay at a different property. By then, we had travelled to the destination and had family activities arranged around the location of the property we had booked. We therefore had no practical option but to stay in the substituted accommodation. This was not an equivalent replacement for the property we had selected and paid for. In particular: * The booked property had two TVs; the replacement had only one. * The booked property had a dining table; the replacement did not have one. * The booked property had two bathrooms plus a separate toilet; the replacement had only one bathroom. * The booked property included on-premises parking; the replacement did not, meaning I had to pay for parking each day myself. * Overall, the replacement property was significantly less comfortable than the accommodation advertised and booked. The undisclosed substitution also had a significant impact on my autisic children, especially..

Had the provider clearly informed us before the stay that the booked property was unavailable and that they proposed to substitute a materially different property, we would have been able to make an informed decision about whether to accept that alternative. We were not given that opportunity. The provider subsequently acknowledged the issue in WhatsApp communications and promised a 30% refund. That refund has not been processed. I do not consider 30% to be an adequate resolution in any event. We selected and paid in full for a particular property based on its location, facilities and accommodation. That property was not provided. The substitution was not clearly disclosed to us, we did not knowingly agree to it, and the property ultimately provided was materially inferior in several respects. I am therefore requesting: A full refund of the accommodation cost for the reservation; and Reimbursement of the parking charges I incurred because the replacement property did not provide the on-premises parking included with the accommodation we booked. I can provide supporting evidence, including the original Booking.com confirmation and listing, the check-in information sent on 24 July, evidence of the different addresses, photographs/details showing the differences between the properties, parking receipts/evidence of the additional parking costs, and the WhatsApp correspondence in which the provider promised a 30% refund. Please treat this as a formal complaint and provide me with a complaint/case reference number. I would also like Booking.com to investigate how a property booked through its platform could be substituted without the customer being clearly informed that a relocation had taken place or being given the opportunity to accept or reject the alternative accommodation. Please confirm in writing whether Booking.com will issue the requested full refund and reimburse the additional parking costs.
