Good clean room. Plenty of space in the room. The check in staff were very friendly and helpful. All the staff walking around were very friendly. Plenty of parking. Everything worked well.
Road noise was more than expected. The bed was not the most comfortable. Pillows were very uncomfortable. The check out staff while amenable, were not the most pleasant.

Not happy jan
Easy check in - Henry who answered the phone prior to check in was very lovely!
There was hair throughout our bed and a large yellow stain on the doona cover. As we checked in after midnight, we felt it was unreasonable to ask the overnight manager to assist with changing the bedding at that hour. When I raised this with the lady at reception the following morning, her response was, “I’ll pass that on to housekeeping.” Thankfully, we had spare blankets in the car, as the issue was not resolved. We also found a welcome page in our room containing another guest’s personal details, which raises concerns about the attention to detail and handling of guest information. This also makes me feel the room was not changed over. From around 4 am, there was a man screaming across the hall. I understand that situations like this may be outside the hotel’s control, and I appreciate that housekeeping appeared to be attempting a welfare check. However, when I raised the issue with reception, I was told the staff member was already aware and that he would be checking out that day. As we were also checking out that day, this response offered little reassurance or assistance. From our perspective, nothing was done to address the impact on us or the guests staying near him. Oh and not to forget when he wasn't screaming he had the shower going all night. The rooms are not soundproof enough. To make matters worse, the power to our TV was not working, meaning we could not even attempt to drown out the noise. When I raised this with the same receptionist, I was asked, “Did you try turning it on?” This response felt dismissive, particularly given the circumstances we had already experienced. The aircondition unit is caked and in dust and there is black mould growing in the bathroom. I have stayed at Quest properties many times and have generally had positive experiences. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst.
