    Scamming business do not stay

    Facilities were very new and clean, rooms were nice and open. Had a lovely view of the church across the street.

    However the staff and policies of Quest Wang are disgusting, they are not nice to deal with and proceeded to take our $250 bond for vaping in the room. We do not vape, smoke or do drugs. The cleaners at checkout went through our bins (which were tied up ready to be thrown out) and found an empty vape packaging. This was enough evidence for them to take our bond for supposed vaping. The rubbish came from a friend car that we didn’t even think about and threw away in our hotel bin. They never told us about the bond being taken till I called them to follow up the refund the Wednesday after our Saturday checkout. I had to deal with the receptionist Francisco who was awful, completely dismissive and rude. We fought it with evidence of other reviews for the same reason and went to the business owner, we finally got a refund of the bond but not without fighting and threatening to go to the Victorian Consumer Affairs. This completely ruined our actually nice stay.
