  Excellent stay in Bari

  Very convenient location set close to the railway station (Stazione Centrale) and the Old Town (Città Vecchia). The neighborhood is very safe with plenty of supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. Next to the lodging was my favorite Minimarket Uccio with great products and the small shop Lyuba; kind people that made my stay more pleasant. Large renovated bedroom and bathrooms. Shower water heats instantly. Hairdryer and soap. Comfortable bed and pillows. Super clean bedsheets and towels. Split AC unit working very satisfactorily. All the rooms were very clean and spacious. Fast Wi-Fi that never failed during my stay. New stove, coffee machine, refrigerator, kitchen utensils, sofa... I rate 10 out of 10 because of the homey feeling, comfort, location and especially for the amazing host Graziella, an extremely attentive lady who was always available and ready to help. I definitely recommend it.

  Everything was outstanding; I didn’t find an aspect I did not like.

  Departamento bien equipado, con poca ventilación.

  La cocina estaba muy bien equipada. Cuenta con 2 baños. El departamento en general estaba en buenas condiciones.

  Tiene poca ventilación. Las paredes tenían humedad.

  Impolite host, poorly maintained (mold/peeling plaster), not quiet.

  It was close to the train station. It had 2 bathrooms. Host offers travel help even when not asked, and supplies some extra drinks/snacks.

  We didn’t stay because of conditions and response when reaching out was rude (as shown in past posts from renters). She told us to go get tv remote batteries when stores open in a few hours, and said we didn’t know how to use a volume button or how to use a basic hob. It was missing a bed shown online, a bug crawled out from under the pull-out sofa, it was loud, had peeling plaster on walls and mold on the ceiling, and the refrigerator was filled with condensation. Book.com called the host who wouldn’t provide a refund despite having rented it again. Booking will continue doing business with this property until enough people aren’t happy and give low scores.   Close to train station and good jumping off spot for visits to sites like Matera, Alberobello.

  No breakfast, coffee was supplied

  Location is inner city Bari, good jumping off point for other locations but not particularly scenic. Parking is a bit difficult and pricey in lots.

  na 4 fantastische dagen met tranen in mijn ogen afscheid genomen van Bari en ons appartement !!!

  Appartement was uitstekend, mooi en modern ingericht / zeer schoon / ruime slaapkamer / ruime woonkamer-keuken-2e slaapkamer (bedbank) / 2 toilet-badruimtes / in alle verblijfsruimtes airconditioning en in de badkamers afzuiging / wifi / TV / zeer complete keuken inrichting met wasmachine / koffiezetter / wasrek / etc. etc. Ook voor langere verblijfsduur is dit een prima appartement. Ontzettend vriendelijke en zeer goed Engels sprekende eigenaresse die snel reageerde op vragen en veel info gaf over activiteiten en eetgelegenheden in Bari. Bari heeft een sfeervolle oude binnenstad met veel bezienswaardigheden o.a. de laatste rustplaats van Sinterklaas (bisschop van Mira). Er is een zeer luxueuze shopping wijk met veel eetgelegenheden met gevarieerde internationale keukens waar we heerlijk gegeten hebben voor zeer betaalbare prijzen. VVV is super!!! Stadswandeling met gids is een aanrader. Appartement lag lopend 10 minuten van het oude centrum en het shopping en uitgaanscentrum. Helaas te weinig tijd gehad om effe lekker te kunnen shoppen. Op 3 minuten lopend van de accomodatie lag het metrostation Quintino Sella. Dit metrostation had een rechtstreekse verbinding (20 minuten) naar het vliegvekd van Bari. Kaartautomaat staat op het perron en werkt super simpel!! Je kunt er met cards en cash betalen. Metro was nieuw en reedt keurig volgens schema. Je komt aan in de aankomsthal van Bari Airport. Zoals wel vaker met metro's moet je van te voren wel even goed kijken welke verbinding je moet nemen, door Quintino Sella lopen 4 lijnen waarvan er 2 naar het vliegveld rijden. Reisinformatie staat alleen in het Italiaans op de informatieborden en op zon en feestdagen geldt een beperkte dienstregeling (1x per uur naar het vliegveld). Bari is een stad waar je de eerste dag aan moet wennen en waar je 2e dag verliefd op wordt . . .. . na 4 dagen wil je niet meer weg maar de terugvlucht gooide roet in het eten. .. . snifff

  Parkeergelegenheid in Bari is zeer beperkt en overal betaald. Er zijn beperkt mogelijkheden om betaald ondergronds te parkeren. Centrum van Bari is druk en in de voetgangersgebieden (luxe winkelstraten en oude centrum) kan überhaupt niet geparkeerd worden. Nagenoeg geen daglicht in het appartement. Internet verbinding in het appartement viel de laatste dag uit.
