    Don’t hesitate, book it

    Totally EVERYTHING. A beautiful place, super clean. Family place with only 9 guest rooms. Super meticulous hospitality experience. The staff are courteous, pleasant, and helpful. Service is given at the highest level. Breathtaking views, and all facilities of the place are aesthetically stunning. Comfy bed and pillows. Great wine and delicious meals in Farm to Table restaurant which offers a menu that changes daily depending on the freshness of the produce

    For those who may be bothered by this - keep in mind that the train passes next to the property, so can hear it several times a day. Rooms aren’t big but they are stylish, clean and comfortable.

    Farm to table Staff were always so friendly and helpful Check in made us feel right at home and welcome straight away Summer night kitchen - remains the prettiest setting for dinner I’ve ever had! Lovely pool, decor, loved the “family room”, pet & child friendly, staff seem happy & very passionate about the place which is nice to see Food & drinks were incredible! Cranial massage was incredible & highly recommend Clean & always smelt amazing! 🍋

    Not necessarily “didn’t like” but we found the food/drink prices more expensive in comparison to the hotel we had just stayed at (also in the Douro). We loved the ethos of farm to table (the other hotel also shared this ethos) we were just a little surprised at the contrast. The food & drink was amazing so it’s more of an observation than criticism. We liked the wine so much that we have had some shipped home ♥️

    Everything was perfect! The hosts , the views, the rooms, and the food were all amazing. We had the best time and will definitely be back!
