This is a very special place to stay, highly recommend by all in my party.
Quinta do Fortunato is absolutely spectacular and our host, Eleseu, generously met us at the Quinta with a lovely bottle of wine and Portuguese cookies to welcome us. The saltwater pool with a gorgeous view is very special. My friends and I only wished we could have stayed longer to benefit from the great location, while the property itself is somewhat remote (as we wanted), it is so close to things to do and places to visit that this would be a terrific base for exploring the north (which I highly recommend).
More of a hint than a thing to not like...you might want to ask about the automatic outdoor lights and how to turn them off when they come on while you are gazing the incredible view of the stars.

Inmejorable
La casa es una verdadera maravilla. Cómoda, agradable, bonita... Está muy cerca de muchos lugares interesantes que visitar y a la vez aislada de todo, por lo que disfrutas de mucha tranquilidad. La piscina es estupenda y hay tumbonas, toallas de baño o incluso algún juguete para el agua. Eliseu nos ofreció productos de sus tierras y nos realizó sugerencias de todo tipo.
En el acceso debe tenerse cuidado porque en algún caso Google Maps te lleva por un camino en muy malas condiciones. Hay otras vías de acceso que están bien. Como única sugerencia de mejora, poner una barandilla para las escaleras exteriores, que faciliten el acceso de personas mayores o con movilidad reducida.
