Ana - the owner is a delightful person . She is extremely personable with exquisite taste. Ana is very informative and helped us dine with the locals vs. the tourists which is what we were looking for.

Amazing outdoor space, the hot tub is a real treat even during cooler weather and it was cleaned regularly. The house was very clean and during our 5 night stay it was cleaned and the beds changed which was a nice surprise. It's on the edge of Ponta Delgada so a good base to explore the island but there isn't much around it. A car is a must. Good communication from Ana with lots of information provided.
The apartment felt very damp and had a damp smell a lot of the time. Breakfast is served at a neighbouring property about 5 minutes walk away for an extra cost, but we found the service to be very slow and food options not restocked. It was only 14 euro per person though so still good value.

Perfect stay
The property was even better then described. A perfect place and location for our stay on Sao Miguel. The apartment was spotless and spacious, And the grounds and gardens lined with blooming hydrangeas was magical. Would absolutely recommend staying here for your trip to Sao Miguel!
