Ruhe und Komfort abseits des Mainstreams
Sehr komfortables gut ausgestattetes Häuschen im klassischen Stil mit allem was man braucht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Badebucht, tolle Landschaften, Supermarkt und Restaurants in der Nähe. Ein Mietwagen ist sinnvoll. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Der krähende Hahn steht definitiv früher auf als wir, hat sich aber dann wieder hingelegt.😁

In my life of travelling world wide and staying in lavish hotels as well as modest hostels, appreciating the qualities that go beyond luxury this was the worst ever experience and I hope I will forgive myself for taking my kids to this place. Read till the end for your own safety. First of all his is not a Farm - it is a narrow, densely divided by low fences garden with chicken and one goat but not a Farm, so if you are looking for a “life on a farm” experience this is not the place. There is no walk in shower but a rather repulsive old rusty bathtub - pictures below. There is also no real parking - but a spot at the end of a very narrow curvy driveway that goes up and its stressful to navigate and park there with a rental car - as its also partially blocked half way by another car of the owners - very complicated and uneasy, no light at night and no marks, which makes it even more difficult to park and reverse. The property is not marked as a place to stay. Run by two male. Its an old very musty space that was so heavily perfumed with air refresher that it was hard to breath inside - we arrived after dark at the end of December while on a hiking trip between the island of Sao Miguel and Terceira. At first I thought that it is the perfum of one of the owners. Owners tried to cover the mustiness and very bed smell of this place by overdecorating it with random second hand furniture, fake plants and odd artwork but it only created overall feeling of clutter. This space should never be made available to even the least demanding guests beside summer as humid cold climate intensifies feeling of cold and moist that makes sleeping there impossible. While owners stay in a house with burning fireplace, very well stocked with chopped wood outside their house - guests are left in a spece with no heating only AC in the living room that turnes off if there is nobody moving around.

Breakfast is awesome. My sons said the breakfasts were the best he ever had. And also the animals in the farm, he loved so much. Very very quiet place and calm. One of a kind experience.
