    Comfortable and relaxing (despite the rain)

    Quirky Cottage is a comfortable and relaxing venue. It is fully self-contained for those who want to cook at home, but I generally ate out; the kitchen still had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the lounge was relaxing. Alison provided an umbrella which was greatly appreciated. The bush turkeys were a bonus. It is very close to Joy Collective for a coffee and a short walk into town. I recommend AnRvi restaurant for lunch or dinner (delicious food) or even the Maleny Pub for a casual meal and happy hour. This would be a 5-star holiday destination if it was sunny.

    Unfortunately, it rained most of the time I was there so the wi-fi was very intermittent, probably due to the wind and rain, so I had to go to the driveway (or top of the road) to get reception as I am an Optus customer and being in a gully, Optus did not respond at all. I'm sure if it hadn't been raining, the wi-fi would have been fine.

    Perfect base for a short visit to the Sunshine Coast

    Convenient to Maleny village. Ideal for solo travelers or a couple. Good base for exploring the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

    Enjoying our time away in Maleny and a wonderful log fire in a cute quirky cottage.

    The Fireplace, the warm cottage, felt like we were in the country however walking distance to Maleny. Loved the books.
