Excellent location, spacious rooms and a warm welcome—a great choice for a stay in Prague
I stayed in a Superior room thanks to a complimentary upgrade through Booking.com, which I happily took advantage of. The room was big—genuinely big—and spacious, with top-notch touches that I really appreciated, such as the coffee machine and espresso cups. It was the first time I had come across proper espresso cups in any of my hotel stays. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was truly top class, with a wide variety of food, from hot and savoury options to cold dishes and sweet treats. Really excellent. The fitness area was equally impressive: very well maintained and equipped with plenty of state-of-the-art machines. The location is ideal for reaching so many of Prague’s attractions on foot.
The hotel’s layout is a little complicated and takes some getting used to. As I also experienced at other hotels during my trip, across different countries and hotel chains, the breakfast service can sometimes be a little too attentive. I fully appreciate the staff’s efforts to look after guests, but a waiter almost cleared away my full cup of coffee and full glass of orange juice while I was at one of the buffet stations getting some food. I had simply left them on the table where I was sitting. That felt a little excessive.
