    It was my wife’s birthday which I mentioned when booking but seemed to have been overlooked by the staff. The bar when o

    It was ideally located. Breakfast was very good.

    The room was tired and could do with a refurb. The bathroom taps were loose and didn’t work correctly. The sink was chipped. The Shower wasn’t very hot and the flooring generally needed replacing. The bathroom was very small. No staff available in the evening in the lounge and reception area on Monday and Tuesday. The receptionist left at 8.00pm therefore no one to contact if you required anything.

    Restful break

    All the staff were friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Great selection of complimentary toiletries. Very comfortable bed.

    It was an excellent stay. Would thoroughly recommend. Staff in particular were 5 star.

    Disappointing having previously stayed at a better hotel before

    Nice small village setting

    The Television in the room didn’t work properly. There was a ladybird infestation around the window frame. The corridor area were hardly lit at night.
