    Location.

    Unacceptable hygiene and disappointing management. For a sub-penthouse at this price point, this stay was disgraceful. The apartment had sticky floors, a persistent musty smell and mould in the bathroom tiles. The toilet brush was so disgusting I couldn't even bring myself to photograph it. The bedding was equally unacceptable. The bed felt damp, and the sheets smelled nothing like fresh linen, with an unpleasant lingering scent. Kitchen utensils were poorly washed, forks were oily, and knives had visible rust. There was also a lack of basic toiletries and necessities. Despite having numerous windows and a balcony, the apartment was poorly ventilated. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING or insect screens, making it difficult to leave windows open without moths and bugs flying inside. The common areas were also dusty and poorly maintained. Management made matters worse. Karen, the resident manager, was dismissive when I contacted her about a Kindle I had left behind. It had not left the apartment during our two-night stay. My request to contact the cleaner or investigate was brushed aside. I am not accusing anyone of taking it, but the lack of assistance was extremely disappointing. We expected basic cleanliness, fresh bedding, hygienic kitchenware and professional customer service. These are not luxury extras; they are minimum expectations for paid accommodation. I would not return or recommend this property. The price and sub-penthouse label suggest a standard that the actual accommodation and management experience simply failed to deliver.
