    Beautiful mountain stay

    Great location right next to the river which was lovely to listen too when the door was open. Right next to some of the walking tracks and only a short distance to town. Would definatley stay here again.

    The floor boards on second level (kitchen/living room) was very loud when walking over them especially in the master bedroom on the bottom floor (where my kids were sleeping).

    The accommodation generally met our needs

    Fairly spacious and in a quiet position on the outskirts of the village

    Luckily the road had little passing traffic as our car slightly overhung the driveway space There was no indication parking a larger car could be a problem. Bathroom and laundry room floors were very slippery when wet and there were no safety mats or racks to stand on. The condensation from tumble drier caused the slipperiness in the laundry room A clothes airer would have been useful to finish drying clothes on to avoid creases

    Could have been better

    Loved the location of the property and the chalet was in a quiet part of town which was great. The beds were really comfortable and the linen very nice. Good to have a garage for the car as well.

    Was really disappointed by the hygiene of the property, it has obviously not been cleaned properly for some time and really let the place down. I sent the property managers photos of cleaning issues and broken items and hoping they address the issues. A lot of unnecessary annoyances that should have been fixed some time ago as I note a previous review said the same things that I've said need fixing. Really annoying was the lack of a blind in the upstairs bedroom so woken up first thing in the morning by blazing light coming in and no side table lamp. A pricey place to have so many disappointments.
