    Sour smell

    We were intrigued with a homestead.

    The age of the facility. The condition of the furnishings in the room. Mostly the awful sour smell. We think it was the on the floor room airconditioner or the plumbing. It was one of those awful smells that will take a lot of work to eliminate. We requested another room at the same price and the owner said they could upgrade to a bigger better room but it would cost more. We declined and the owners did give us our money back.

    Comfort in the Country

    This property is the perfect combination of comfort and rustic. Our room had everything we needed for a short stay: living area with small fridge and microwave, a large bedroom with three comfortable beds, and a full bathroom. The AC and fans made it quite comfortable. This was upstairs, which was challenging for me. Next time I might choose a ground floor apartment or cabin. The best thing about this place is the beautiful scenery, hiking trails, farm animals, and other recreational amenities. I was there to paint - and there was a painting everywhere I looked - so I didn’t have time to try the pool. I’ll be back again with family!
