Absolutely spectacular stay
Our stay at Rancho Haas was absolutely spectacular. It can be hard to find a space for a group of families/kids and singles, but the Rancho was perfect for us. Close, sometimes even walking distance to many great beaches, and a reasonable drive to many local points of interest - wildlife preserves, national parks…. The team (Jose and Paulo) were the best hosts I have ever had, and were not only responsive to any issues, but gave us a wealth of local tips and sightseeing recommendations. The catering Paulo arranged for us was great as well. We arrived as strangers and parted as friends. Thank you Jose and Paulo for an unforgettable stay!

Fantastic hosts and spacious property
We went here for christmas holiday and it was a phenomenal experience. We were hosted by Jose, Paolo, Mercedes, and Loana (maybe I am getting this spelling wrong). All the hosts were very gracious and accommodated requests from our group of 15 which included kids of various ages. They arranged private massages, diamante tour, grocery shopping, local advice etc. The property is expansive and could easily accommodate twice as many people. You are in the middle of the nature when you live here. We woke up to the sounds of birds chirping and monkeys howling, spotted iguanas on the trees, ants followed us everywhere :) The pool was clean and temperature was naturally warm. Some of us stayed in/near the water the whole day. Kids alternated between shooting basketball and jumping in the pool. There are a number of spaces for large groups to hang out together, kitchen, patio, poolside, grilling area, soccer stadium etc. I highly recommend these hosts and the place to groups who want to travel together but have space for everyone. The beach, restaurants, and groceries are only 5-10 mins away. Potrero and Tamarindo are not far either.
