decent value for money. nice view.

breakfast was not too bad, room comfy and the beach view with balcony as advertised. balcony not usable with rain though. in the afternoon there were parking spots available, at capacity by the evening

restaurant was booked for a private event, and most likely that included the bar as I was unable to find any. fortunately the neighbouring hostel had a restaurant open.

    nice and quite

Breakfast was amazing - ice cream for kids and Prosecco for adults. Very tasty and a lot of things to choose to any choice . Possible to take dog to the restaurant. Room was good. Enough space for three persons. Very nice location, beach front and beautiful view from restaurant. Big parking

No any spa inside. Just possibilities to order some massage , but nothing inside to all.

    For architecture & history lovers

Main reason to choose Rannahotell is the building itself, the architecture of it. The history is also interesting; Estonia's dictator in the 1930's, Konstantin Päts, loved Rannahotell - because it was so "luxurious". That was then. Actually I don't know if there's any other reasons to choose it nowadays. Or... maybe the beach, which is right in front of the hotel.

Why is the smoking area located in front of the main entrance? You walk in to the hotel through a cloud of smoke. The whole entrance hall is smelling. Staff of the hotel is the usual hotel staff in Estonia; some are attentive, helpful & friendly, and some are not. Some try to avoid all the communication with the customers. It wasn't so nice to argue with the (young) waitress while having a breakfast because she could not find me anything without lactose & gluten. "Estonians eat lactose & gluten." "Well, I am not Estonian." She even refused to get me some fried eggs. "We are too busy, kitchen also is too busy." The hotel itself: rooms, lobby bar, halls, everything, need badly repairs - and the owner knows it well. Hotel is open only during the summer and it would be too costly to "brush" it thoroughly. Also, the hotel needs some kind of an exercise/fitness room, even a small one. So, Rannahotell is worth visiting once a year or so, if the price is right, and if you appreciate beautiful architecture & a hint of the gloomy history of Estonia. Enjoy.
