    Gem of a boutique hotel by the French Quarter

    This hotel is an absolute gem and totally lived up to expectations, situated on the edge of the French Quarter on a wide avenue with other beautiful colonial properties. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms each have their own charming features and the reception area has interesting books and traditional furniture from the 19th century. The complimentary coffee and cereal bars in reception were the best I tasted in all the 16 hotels we stayed in during our 21 day road trip in USA. The outdoor terrace and pool/ hot tub area with deckchairs was very attractive. We could easily find a space to park the car for free on the road outside Rathbone Mansions and it felt very safe walking the 10-15 minutes into Downtown New Orleans. This is a medium-priced hotel and is great value for money. Would highly recommend!

    Loved the old vibe of the place. My room was perfect and cozy and the people who worked there were very kind and helpful! The only thing im mad about is not taking advantage of the hot tub!!!
