I only stayed one night but would definitely recommend it. I stayed in the one bedroom lodge and it

A lovely peaceful location, the facilities were perfect and Peter was lovely. I returned after a wake in the dark and the driveway was beautifully lit.

The head of the bed was against the wall behind the kitchen and I could hear humming on and off but it wasn't a big deal.

The lodge is a peaceful, private, comfortable stay with wonderful hosts.

Both hosts were amazing. Peter met me at the lodge to show me everything, make sure I knew where things were, and anything I might need. Kitchen had everything you’d need to make food. There’s a fridge/freezer, oven, stove, dishwasher and even a washing machine. Peter offered to start a fire for me or to let them know if I needed help with anything. He even offered to clean up after I cooked (this goes so far beyond my expectations of a B and B)… which I did not take- but appreciated. Peter took me up to the fairy fort on the property to see it, which I loved. Stunning views of the surrounding valley. You can also see a mound, in which a bishop was buried from the top of the fort. Theres five cows, beautiful. There’s a farm dog, Patch, on the property who loves playing with rocks. I watched her happily, barking at the rock and carrying them around. She could have her own social media- “Patch and her Rocks”. She truly lives a dogs’ best life. The property is quiet and peaceful- a great stay for any reason. Parking is directly in front of the of the lodge and makes taking things in and out of rental very easy. Stay here if you appreciate kindness and joy. These hosts are lovely.

    Nothing.
