    The room was thoughtfully designed and decorated but the paintwork was very chipped and the shower was mouldy.

    The location was convenient for me

    My room was shabby and the shower needed regrouting.

    May use again as a base but would not be a first choice.

    Great location - Great pub next door.

    The rooms to the rear of the pub need some maintenance work doing to them. They’re also very small.

    Excellent location just off A1 but very quiet and peaceful. Very welcoming staff and comfortable well-equipped bedroom. Very good bar and restaurant facilities with tasty menu. Amazing value for money and would thoroughly recommend for a few night stay

    Great place with fantastic staff

    Staff were really exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food was great. Room was comfy and spacious.

    Maybe the shower could do with a bit of updating.
