Superb stay in a tranquil setting amongst the North Yorkshire vista

It's self-catering, but lots of local shops to choose from nearby in Pickering. We LOVED the location! I've never stayed anywhere so quiet and peaceful which was perfect for us. There are lots of lovely walks nearby and the scenery is delightful. Access was easy and smooth — just a key box and a code — and the kitchenette in the studio was so cute!

We had a wonderful week staying in Hindburn cottage at Jan and Duncan's converted farmyard. You're surrounded by greenery and nature and can even say hello to goats, ducks and sheep in the grounds. The accommodation had everything we needed, a full kitchen, decent bed, and instant hot water for the shower. The online guide from Jan and Duncan covered all our questions and had several great ideas for places to eat, visit, and for country walks. Even better, they're truly one of the nicest couples you'll ever meet: warm, welcoming, friendly, and kind. The perfect hosts. We wouldn't hesitate to stay with them again.

A lovely farmhouse stay in a self-catering room. Everything was squeaky clean and worked. We were unlucky to have cold weather and continuous rain! Our hosts supplied additional heat and were very caring.
