  Absolutely perfect location with some really nice hosts - held back a bit by the virtue of being old

  The property manager and the owner were really helpful. The bed was really comfortable and the two AC units did a really good job of cooling the place down. The kitchen was meagerly stocked but serviceable enough for sure. The terrace was very nice. The hot water was tricky but once we figured it out (again, with the active help of the very helpful manager and owner). While we didn't use it, having a clothes washing machine with soap already provided is a really nice touch. The location is absolutely perfect and can't be beat. Super close to the Mercato Centrale, Santa Maria Novella, and Santa Maria del Fiore. Being at the top of four flights of stairs means you get a fairly nice view out the windows and on the terrace

  The bathroom was exceedingly small in almost every way. We knew it was small based on the photos but nothing really does it justice. You have to crouch to use the sink, you'll bang your elbows into the shower doors trying to take a shower, and if you stand up from the toilet you might hit your head on the ceiling. The general build quality of the kitchen left something to be desired - for example, one of the cabinet door handles just fell off in my hand when I tried to open it, and the mini-fridge door is attached to the lower cabinet door but doesn't line up with the door next to it. So if you close the other door first and then try to close the mini-fridge, it will be propped open. Being at the top of four flights of stairs can be quite rough, especially when you first move in or finally move out with luggage.

  Rustic accommodations in central Florence, Close to Train station and Mercato Centrale

  Great location. close to restaurants and attractions. Nice large terrace with views of city. Good size kitchen table for eating or working. Good selection of dishware for using. Good size closet for clothes. Bedroom was good size, lots of light.

  With all the stairs and no elevator, recommend for those with backpacks or small luggage, definitely not large luggage. Bathroom is very narrow. Anyone really tall would find it difficult to maneuver around. Kitchen is very basic, no microwave, electric coffee maker, and no tea towels. Would have liked more written instruction on the garbage maintenance and disposal. There were no plastic bags for us to store and take away our garbage.

  Exceptional Experience!

  The location is amazing! My sister and I were able to get everywhere we needed to go. When I come back rot Florence I will be staying here again. The 5 flights of stairs are worth it.

  In a energetic city you find a relaxing place in this house with a stunning view of the city.

  What a nice place to stay. In the middle of the city center of Florence and the appartment is so relaxing. A good view in the rooftop of Florence, the house is well equiped, clean and the host is very friendly and helpfull.

  Realise that this appartement has no elevator and walking the stairs is good for your health.
