unclear communication

at the end I didn't stay due to unclear communication. the landlord expressed that they were willing to accommodate late check in, then they said they would only accommodate it if I was a lady, then I didn't get any response until the last moment hours before check in which was not direct answer to my questions. I advise that clear instructions or rules be stated so that a guest can decide early in advance.

Noisy road in front of the house, owner that breaks balls with his rules etc. kitchen without equipment, there was neither a knive.
