A haven of peace amidst the hustle and bustle of Kolkata
This guesthouse, spread over two floors within a five-storey building, is like a haven of peace amidst the hustle and bustle of Kolkata; it’s also in a strategic location that allows you to visit the most iconic sights on foot, although there may be too much pollution on the streets for that. The rooms are clean and the walls are surprisingly well painted, unlike most hotels in India. Breakfast is also good, and the staff are very helpful.
Some rooms may have just one bed but wider.

A nice place to stay in the middle of the Mumbai.
The location is very good and it is quiet due to his situation at the end of an alley. The breakfast is very good and the staff is kind and attentive.
Unfortunately, the local people have not the same scale value on what can be disturbing or not. Sometimes, they speak, use mobile phones or watch tv at high volume without realizing that they are disturbing. I do not like to disturb, that´s why I am very silent and calm. But I demand the same from others, and here in India that is very difficult to achieve.

Location is pretty good, fairly clean, and the breakfast options are limited but adequate. Staff were good.
The house rule regarding ordering dinner was quite stiff. You have to place an order before 4 PM; otherwise, you have to go out to dinner or order online. Not sure why; they may have their reasons, but it was odd for sure. TV was difficult to operate. When the TV was operating, the most important national news channels and sports channels were not available. Surely they can afford the little money it costs to pay the local cable connection providers, especially seeing how much business they were getting during my stay there.
