    It was adequate - but room was dated & bathroom basic.

    Didn't have breakfast - £12.50 per person is too much and we couldn't book ahead for dinner with friends who wanted to join us - so we went elsewhere.

    Room was OK- bed comfy - but no tray under the kettle meant that we couldn't help spills - especially as the tear open coffee & milk sachets were so difficult to get into.

    Another successful short stay

    Have spent short stays at Red Lion Hotel a few times now over a number of years. Always a good welcome and pleasant stay with car parking. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

    I like the Red Lion Hotel but can't help feeling the bedrooms could do with a little bit of tlc in places.
