    Disappointed

    WiFi was good,decent water pressure in the shower.

    Property requires a thorough going over. Disappointingly scruffy, untidy exterior front and back, which didn't really improve once you got through the door. Cobwebs in the kitchen, sticking plasters on the wall. Broken light fittings. Mould around the bath. General level of maintenance looked extremely basic to none existent. Plaster spalling off the walls in a number of rooms. If you have mobility issues using the bath/shower may be problematic. Contacted Horizon after leaving as none of the issues were going to be put right on a Saturday morning. Usual apologies from them, but seeing as the same general issues had been raised last year and to my eyes it looks like nothing had been done,I don't expect them to be sorted out anytime soon. Maybe a weekend stay by the MD and their family might bring it home, just how bad it is. It could be great but it isn't. If this was mine I'd be embarrassed. If I was charging for people to stay I'd be ashamed. Once booked, watch out for the £60 indemnity or £300 insurance deposit.

    Comfy crisp clean beds, spacious rooms. Nice area. All of us agreed about the comfy beds. The downstairs toilet was a bonus with there being 5 of us and children! Perfect for exploring the coast location. We found the beach in Redcar much quieter anyway, no driving round to find a parking place at the busier places, free parking just further along the coast by the cafe, free toilets. Would recommend and would stay here again.

    It was at most adequate. Clean linen but unkempt garden and no feeling of of warmth. Septic.

    The accommodation was clean - bed linen etc

    Very spartan. Nail protruded on bannister and guest suffered a deep cut. Bathroom door still broken and no locks on bathroom or toilet
