Wholesome, nice garden, good hot tub.
No shower gel in bathroom? Not enough plastic cups to be taken into the hot tub, one bathroom for seven people staying, pans were small for cooking for that many people also - and no dishwasher tablets so had to wash all glasses both nights by hand.

Lovely cottage very well equipped. Excellent communication with the owner.

Location and hot tub, We were very grateful to have been given an early access and got into the property over an hour earlier than check in time.
Some minor matters overlooked - no clocks worked light bulbs missing, no needle for the record player, some plugs didn’t work, lampshade on one bedside table falling off. Not enough of everything ie water wine glasses. These however can all be easily rectified. Sadly we all felt whilst the property did have 3 good size bedrooms, seating in living room and kitchen table was only for 4. We brought chairs in from outside to sit togeather but this blocked off access to outside areas which was not ideal . Sadly it just didn’t suit for 6 adults . Unfortunately the response i received to my review is awful, it is passive aggressive, beyond rude and more importantly factually incorrect. I never spoke to the owner on the phone, I never received any message about a lamp not working or a dishwasher being full I did however message when we were there about the needle for the record player in case he was not aware. I have full screenshots of all messages. I didn't give a 5* star for cleanliness in fact the only 5* i gave was for location. I am not sure if the review have been mixed with someone else's and two have been responded to at the same time but honestly this is the rudest response i have every seen when my feedback was based on factual personal experience. I wont change my original review or individual scores as they are a true reflection of my experience at the time however i have now changed my overall score form a 6 to a 1 as I would not recommend this property to anyone based on the treatment i have since received by the owner/person responsible for writing property responses. Be aware if you do stay and give any perceived negative feedback - even when factual, you will not receive a nice response.

The cottage was in a lovely location. Cottage was cosy. Lovely hot tub in garden
Well the freezer was all broke and was totally iced all over with left food left in there. Had to get ice off to put some if out stuff in there. Kitchen utensils were dirty and greasy. Oven was dirty. Air fryer had to be cleaned aswell. Also stains on sofa think it could do with updating. Did say he would reimburse some money for pur inconvenience but never did.
