It's very beautiful but there were a few aspects that were disappointing
It has beautiful views. We also really enjoyed staying somewhere where there is a commitment to Sustainability. The staff were all very responsive. There are lots of different areas where you can go and relax on the grounds, so it doesn't feel too crowded ever.
Our room was right opposite the kitchen - that was our view despite the description when we booked saying we would have a sea view. It was pretty loud in the mornings with everyone coming from breakfast. I was disappointed by this given the price. Also, we were told that dinners cost 23Euros but one of the meals cost more, although no one told us until the end. The dinners were a little hit or miss to be honest and there's not a lot else in the area. You can't drink the water, so you need to buy it either from a nearby shop or a hotel, which doesn't feel that sustainable - perhaps water filters could be provided in the rooms. Lastly, the donkeys were a bit sad - they didn't have a lot of space. Again considering how it's being marketed it would be nice to see the animals enclosure's given a bit more thought - otherwise it feels like they are just there as a tourist attraction and not looked after properly. We did have nice time, but as it is quite expensive I was a bit disappointed overall - particularly with the room right next to the kitchen, I think it should be more reasonably priced because it's not a great spot.
